White Wine and Rosemary Turkey Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups smoked turkey (pulled leftovers or cubed from store)
  • 5 cups broth (bone or veggie)
  • 1 cup white wine (dry variety like chardonnay)
  • 2 cups frozen mixed veggies (carrots, corn, green beans)
  • 2 tbsp scallion whites (chopped)
  • 1 cup uncooked wild rice
  • 3-4 spriggs Rosemary (fresh)
  • To taste salt & cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in the crockpot and stir to combine.
  • Cover and set crockpot to low to cook for 6-8 hours.
  • At 6 hours, check for doneness. If Rice is tender, turn to warm until you are ready to serve! Add salt/pepper to taste and remove rosemary spriggs.
  • Serve with homestyle biscuits and a glass of white wine! Enjoy!
