Skinny Verde Chicken Street Tacos

Simple, delicious, and made with only two ingredients! These verde chicken street tacos will make everyone at your table smile!

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 c verde salsa
  • to taste salt & pepper

Optional Add-In's

  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1/2 c roasted corn
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 can diced green chilies

Instructions
 

  • pat chicken dry and season with salt/pepper.
  • place in crockpot with 1 C salsa and any other optional ingredients. If you're using more chicken, add a bit more salsa.
  • Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6. Once chicken is cooked, shred with a fork and turn crockpot to warm until you're ready to serve!
  • Serve as street tacos with flour or corn mini tortillas, cojita cheese, cilantro, avocado, habanero or avocado cream sauce, lime, or anything else you fancy!
