We are one week closer to Thanksgiving and, if you’re like me, you have dreams of Pumpkin Pie and Greenbean Caserole dancing in your head! ? We all know the temptation that the next couple of weeks brings and while it is totally acceptable AND NECESSARY to take part in the seasonal indulgence, it is just as vital that we keep up with our fitness along the way! Not just because it makes us feel less guilty about eating that extra piece of pie ?, but because it keeps us from falling too far behind into unhealthy habits. So here comes the million dollar question: How do we maintain our fitness with an ever-changing schedule packed with heavy hours, family duties, last minute events, and looking after children all day?

I had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with this wonderful company this week and was SO pleased with my at-home workout experience!! Guys, Kanthaka is a SERIOUS game changer for the working mom, stay at home mom, boss babe, Busy Dad, and all of the above! Using KANTHAKA is a real game changer in building your personal fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle because it involves a training staff that REALLY invests in your life. The accountability is there and they cater to your specific wants and needs. The best part is, you pick EVERYTHING! From the time, to the duration, location, trainer, type of workout, and more! Here’s how it works:
1. Download the App (CLICK HERE) and input your general information (use my code MUeFhJ when signing up and read below to see how to save money on your first session).  The profile set up involves inputting your basic information, health and fitness experience information, preferences, goals, lifestyle, and more. The company and staff want to know exactly who they are working for so that they can cater your workouts perfectly to you! **AWESOME SIDE NOTE – no payment information is requested until you actually BOOK a trainer! ??
2. Select a Plan, Time, and Location: Within the KANTHAKA app, you can select to sign up for a single session or a monthly package. This is AWESOME because there is no commitment involved! If you want to simply try it out for a while to see if it’s for you, go with the single session and there are no strings attached! You are never bound for more than a month so there is never the worry of paying a cancellation fee. Once you select your plan, the app asks you to select how long you want your workout to be, what time, and best of all, the LOCATION. This is where the convenience comes in – you can literally choose to do the workout ANYWHERE that you could host a trainer whether than be at your apartment gym, neighborhood park, office gym, or home! I chose my living room – which cut out the drive and get ready time that usually defers me from getting my weeknight workout in! It’s all about convenience y’all, and Kanthaka makes that part a breeze! ??✅

3. Select a WORKOUT: This by far is my FAVORITE part of the KANTHAKA app! You get to hand select the TYPE of workout you want to do that day! This is great because if you’re like me you want to mix it up and going with any one gym doesn’t always allow you that flexibility! Maybe you want to do boxing on Monday and Pilates on Wednesday, or maybe you’re feeling a bit sore and just want to do Yoga. Maybe you’re trying to make some serious gains ?? Whatever your mood or goal, there is a workout to accommodate and a trainer waiting to help! See the screenshot below for the various workout types they offer ???.
4. Select a TRAINER: This has to be my second favorite part of the App – you actually get to choose from a CARD DECK of trainers! Not only do they provide you many possible trainers, but they provide you several filter options for selecting your preferred trainer! Maybe you’re looking for only a woman trainer or somebody who has a degree in kinesiology. Maybe you’re looking for someone who has won awards or who has years of experience. I’m telling you, these trainers are top notch as they were hand selected by the very knowledgeable (and super sweet) CEO. All of the trainers on the Kanthaka team were interviewed in person and 90% of the trainers are used by the developers themselves. Additionally, all the trainers are certified and insured so you don’t have to worry about who is coming to your home. Not only this, but the app (just like Uber) comes with a trainer rating system so clients can input their personal experience – this is super helpful when selecting a trainer. I had the absolute pleasure of working out with Reynaldo Uresti – he came to me with more than 10 years of experience and it was super obvious ???. He put me through a KILLER workout right from my living room with NO needed equipment. Rey isn’t the only awesome trainer on the KANTHAKA team – check them out for yourself! You can keep the same trainer each time you sign up or switch things up to try out some new trainers – the app is totally adaptable. ??
5. GET IT DONE: Once you’ve selected a trainer, you input your payment information and CHECK the workout off your to do list! It is seriously that easy… I was skeptical but I admit that I was SUPER impressed with the ease and convenience of the entire process. ???? Below are a few photos from my workout with REY ?????? Real talk – I was truly amazed and impressed by the Kanthaka team and how much they really care about the health and success of their clients. These are great people with a genuine intent to help their clients live a happy and healthy lifestyle. They understand that working out gets pushed to the back burner in many people’s lives and simply want to make that part easy by bringing the workout to them at their convenience. If you notice from my photos, the CEO’s sweet children were playing around in the background throughout the duration of the workout (she came to my house to meet me and watch me participate in my workout with Rey). This alone proves how easy this is to implement in your daily schedule, no matter what sort of responsibilities (or chaos ?) you have at home or work!
